Dr. Maaz Asad Javaid is the Head of the Department of Periodontology, bringing a strong academic background and extensive expertise to the field. He graduated with a BDS from Baqai Dental College. Driven by a desire for higher academic qualification, he pursued his Master’s in Periodontology at the University of Malaya. During his time at the University of Malaya, Dr. Javaid refined his knowledge and skills in teaching, clinical work, and research.

Dr. Javaid has actively participated in various programs and conferences to present his work and has several publications in national, international, and ISI indexed journals. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Periodontology at Baqai Dental College, where he has been instrumental in teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

His areas of expertise include scaling and root planning, pocket reduction procedures, crown lengthening, soft and hard tissue surgeries, and dental implants.
