Professor Dr. Puria Parvini is a highly accomplished and distinguished expert in oral surgery and implantology. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1974, Dr. Parvini is a German citizen who has dedicated his career to advancing the field of dentistry through extensive education, clinical practice, and academic contributions.

Dr. Parvini graduated in Dentistry from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität, Mainz, Germany in 2003. He earned his Doctor Medicinae Dentariae in 2006 with a dissertation focusing on the clinical evaluation of quality of life and chewing ability in edentulous patients. He further specialized as a Dentist for Oral Surgery and Implantology in 2009. His commitment to continuous learning is evident through his multiple Master of Science degrees, including Oral Implantology, Periodontology and Implantology (graduated with honors), and Esthetic Dentistry (graduated with honors). In 2023, he achieved professorship at the University Hospital Frankfurt.

Since 2015, Dr. Parvini has served as the Chief Senior Physician and Absentee’s Representative of the Clinic Director in the Department of Oral Surgery and Implantology at Goethe University, Frankfurt. He is an authorized examiner for the State Examination Office in Hessen for Dentistry and has held various significant roles, including Accredited Tutor & Supervisor for the Master of Science in Oral Implantology.

Dr. Parvini’s expertise spans a wide range of main interests, including complex bone augmentation, dental trauma and transplantation, immediate implantation, soft tissue management, plastic-aesthetic periodontal surgery, and the management of complications in oral surgery. He is also recognized internationally as a speaker and has conducted numerous clinical and pre-clinical studies.

Recognized for his excellence, Dr. Parvini has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Award for Excellence in Teaching from Goethe University (2012, 2017, 2023) and the DG PARO Implant Research Award (2018). With over 15 years of live-surgery experience, Dr. Parvini brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a deep understanding of advanced dental procedures to his teaching and clinical practice.
